(Newswire.net — December 11, 2018) Orlando, FL — Today, more and more women spend so much on their hair. Unfortunately, many of the products used in styling and making the hair look nice often contain unhealthy, potentially dangerous substances.

A study was published in Environmental Health Perspectives.

In this research, it has been found that women having the highest levels of phthalates in their urine were twice more susceptible to diabetes than those with the lowest levels.

Health authorities warn these chemicals called phthalates are often used in manufacturing plastics. They are further found in personal care products like hairspray and fragrances. Using these products every day could increase exposure to these chemicals.

It is further worth mentioning exposure to phthalates can also be from having hair done in a salon.

Another study was carried out and published in the American Journal of Epidemiology.

In this research, the scientists suggested that toxic chemicals found in certain hair care products may be absorbed by the body via the scalp.

When the absorption reaches sufficient amounts, it can increase the risk of adverse effects on a woman’s health.

Health authorities warn that salon workers are often at more risk, and this is due to the fact that they are exposed to the chemicals every day.

The researchers from the Cancer Prevention Institute of California and Asian Health Services reveal there are unsafe levels of toluene in 80 workers of 20 different salons.

It is important to be warned that such a solvent is associated with reproductive, neurological, and endocrine damage.

When it comes to eliminating hair toxins naturally, it is wise to take into account the use of activated charcoal.

In some studies, it has been found activated charcoal works in binding with toxins, dirt, debris, and bacteria. Once it binds with toxins, it is then able to get rid of them from the body.

Activated charcoal can pull out dirt, oil, and toxins from the scalp and even the skin. What makes it even more beneficial is that it could add volume to the hair. Hair sagging can be due to the hair being overburdened by dirt and debris.

While shampooing helps, it is wise to use activated charcoal to deeply cleanse the hair. It also doesn’t leave residue like regular shampoos do. By eliminating dirt, the hair will feel lighter and obtain more volume.

It has further been found to remedy certain scalp conditions, such as oiliness, redness, and itchiness in the scalp.

Activated charcoal works by pulling out toxins and even purifying the scalp. It has been speculated to work deeply into the hair follicles for cleansing.

Supplements like Divine Bounty Activated Charcoal could be helpful in delivering the natural ingredient’s healing goodness.
