(Newswire.net — July 31, 2015) Phoenix, Arizona – Pop-A-Lock Locksmiths of Phoenix (dba Pop-A-Lock of Greater Maricopa County), announced today that its parent company, Bartlett Consulting Group, Inc., has acquired Luekenga Locksmiths, the other Pop-A-Lock franchisee in the Phoenix market. Luekenga Locksmiths has provided commercial, residential, and automotive locksmith services throughout central Phoenix and the southeast Valley for the past two years. Pop-A-Lock Locksmiths of Phoenix is the local franchise operation of Pop-A-Lock, an international locksmith firm headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana. Pop-A-Lock operates in over 60 cities across the United States, as well as in Canada, Mexico, and Australia.
“We are really excited to combine these two businesses into one consolidated operation,” commented Deric Czarapata, Pop-A-Lock Vice President and General Manager. “Our goal is to build the dominant locksmith brand across the entire Valley.”
Pop-A-Lock offers a national platform for locksmiths to grow their business. The firm provides a mobile optimized website that enables prospective clients to locate a locksmith in their area quickly and easily. The locksmith will arrive in a clearly marked vehicle and deliver services for the agreed upon price. “Our industry is rife with scammers,” noted Czarapata. “We aim to change that with consistent pricing and quality service, delivered by a trained and uniformed professional.”
Pop-A-Lock of Phoenix now provides residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services throughout the entire Phoenix metropolitan area and Maricopa County. “We have locksmith technicians and specially equipped vans positioned in every quadrant of the Valley. We can generally reach a customer within 20 minutes of receiving a call,” Czarapata said.
“We are extremely fortunate to have an established platform on which to grow our business,” commented Laura Ann Bartlett, Pop-A-Lock President and CEO. “Like many industries, the locksmith business is ripe for consolidation. The costs for technology, inventory, and equipment continue to increase. We expect considerable growth and bringing additional locksmiths to our team over the next several years.”
Pop-A-Lock is known for its community service program, PAL Saves Kids. When a child is locked in a car unattended, Pop-A-Lock will unlock the car door for free, rescuing youngsters from a possibly overheated car and saving parents from stress and anguish. In Phoenix, Pop-A-Lock will also rescue pets that are locked in the car at no cost. Emergency Door Unlocks (EDUs) take precedence over any other work in progress. “We drop everything when we get an EDU call,” Czarapata said. “Normally we can get the car opened in a matter of seconds. Parents are so worried and we’re there to help out as soon as possible.”
