(Newswire.net — May 6, 2014) Baton Rouge, Louisiana — The Bridge Church | Baton Rouge, a non-denominational church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has just launched their new and modern website.
Pushing the boundary of church websites, The Bridge Church | Baton Rouge has recently launched a new and modern website for their non-denominational church located in the city of Baton Rouge. With one of their expressed goals being connecting people to God through technology, the website aims to make discovering how to get involved with The Bridge easier and more welcoming than ever before.
The Bridge Church | Baton Rouge is a “diverse and modern non-denominational startup community that feels more like home than church, and yet loves using technology to connect people to God and each other” says Jonathan Perkins, the lead evangelist of The Bridge. With that mindset, the new website that has just been launched by Jonathan and his leadership team attempts to do exactly that. Upon entering the site, you see the words, “Delivering church in its purest form. Living it out.”, and immediately you are introduced to The Bridge, in digital form, along with all it has to offer in a easy to understand and simple to navigate website.
Each section that is accessible from the main page of the site offers a wealth of information and resources that connects directly to the Bridge community, making it easy to engage and get involved with The Bridge. In just a few clicks, you are able to investigate the different ministries that The Bridge Church supports, learn about their revolutionary kids Sunday school program “KidzConnect”, view past sermons and sermon series in video and audio formats with discussion questions, coordinate your schedule with an up-to-date calendar with location and event information, and digitally donate to the church using Paypal which instantly emails you a receipt of your transaction for future tax purposes.
According to Jonathan, making the Bridge website a great experience for users was a main focus during the development. “We worked really hard on the design and the UI (user interface) to make The Bridge website clean, efficient, and fun to use. Although this is just release 1.0, we are incredibly pleased with the design and functionality. We have received a lot of positive feedback from our end-users — and that’s what really matters.”
The new Bridge website is also mobile responsive, which means that whether you are accessing it from a desktop, smartphone, or tablet, the design of the site will smartly adjust to fit your screen so you are not viewing any unreadable text.
But even with all the site has to offer at this moment, Jonathan and his leadership team do not want to stop there. He says, “We look forward to www.bridgechurchbr.com continuing to grow into being a communications hub for The Bridge, and are working on several exciting new initiatives we have planned for the website.”
With their newly launched online store in beta, The Bridge Church | Baton Rouge website will soon be able to provide their members and guests with resources that are downloadable or shippable to any location, equipping them with spiritual tools to succeed. Also, in time, Bridge t-shirts, mugs and other Bridge gear will be able to ordered to show support for the Bridge mission.
Along with that, a soon-to-be-released Bridge blog aims to become a great portal for those who frequent the site to feel and remain connected to The Bridge Church community.
Also, to keep up with what is going on at the Bridge and connect to the Bridge community, simply go to the new website at the bottom of the page, and easily sign up for the weekly “Follow the Bridge” e-newsletter that will be delivered by email which will keep subscribers posted on the latest happenings. Additionally, if a Bridge team member is available, a chat box will pop-up, providing the opportunity to start a live conversation.
With the new and improving website the The Bridge Church | Baton Rouge has just launched, the digital divide between church and people continues to narrow everyday, allowing anyone to connect with their church community in a way that many never would have thought possible.
