(Newswire.net — May 10, 2013) Jamestown, NC — Memory Cross has created an innovative card that teaches children the Ten Commandments. Multiples surveys have shown that children and adults cannot name a majority of the 10 commandants. In fact people were able to list the names of the Beetles and the ingredients of a Big Mac better than the 10 Commandments. The results were not better when church teens and adults were surveyed. The Ten Commandments are etched in stone at the Supreme Court and are the basis for law in America, yet most people cannot name them.
Memory Cross has created an origami flip card to designed to help children memorize the Ten Commandments. Created for parents, teachers at Christian Schools and Sunday School teachers that want to really help children learn and remember the Ten Commandments. The card breaks down God’s commandments into four sections making it easier for children to learn. The origami design fascinates children so they’ll fold it over and over again and as they do God’s Ten Commandments will be put into their hearts and minds.
Recent comments about this new card include: “These are so clever! I took several bundles on a mission trip last summer and the kids were fascinated. Even the kids in our own church love these and go through the whole cycle of unfolding and revealing several times. I highly recommend these Memory Cross creations.” – Cheryl Mathews
“I had a blast “playing” with my package of sample Memory Crosses! What a fun design, well constructed, and a very unique way to share the Gospel.” – Christie Inocencio
“Absolutely the coolest thing! What a way to catch someone’s attention and while they are studying how it’s made – the Holy Spirit is quietly working on them! What a wonderful tool!” – Sandy Voskan
“Memory Cross is definitely something that helps ME memorize Scripture. They are small, compact to carry and store, and clever–it is ok for a scripture memory item to be FUN, and these are that!” – Nancy Ashford Miller
The 10 Commandments are the basis for law in the United States yet most people cannot name them. Memory Cross would like to see that change, starting with children who attend church. The Memory Cross Ten Commandments cards are available in packs of 24 at selected Christian bookstores and online.
