(Newswire.net — September 21, 2021) Orlando, FL — Exercise is generally popularized by the myriad of health benefits it could offer. Physical activities in varying intensities have been linked with different health benefits.

A study was published in the Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, which is the journal of the American College of Sports Medicine journal.

In this study, which was carried out by the University of Otago, it has been found that high-intensity exercise can lessen or reverse the loss in heart function caused by type 2 diabetes.

The research involved three months of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), which enhanced heart function in adults with type 2 diabetes. The improvements took place without any change in medications or diet.

The study findings suggest that exercise of such intensity may be an inexpensive and practical way to reverse or reduce the loss of heart function caused by type 2 diabetes.

It is worth mentioning that HIIT involved short intervals of near maximal effort exercise. These include sprinting or stair climbing, separated by intervals of moderate-intensity exercise, like fast walking or jogging.

Exercise is undeniably vital for overall health, especially for the protection of the heart. It is also important to realize that there are some other ways to take better care of cardiovascular health, such as following a healthy diet.

It is further interesting to note that certain natural remedies do work wonders in helping keep the heart in shape. These are evidence-based remedies with therapeutic agents that protect and improve heart health.

The human body actually needs all the nutrients it can get to engage in physical activities. These nutrients include B vitamins, which have further been found to be particularly helpful for heart health.

Scientists reveal that B vitamins play a significant role in energy production, DNA synthesis, and repair, as well as brain function.

Research has demonstrated that reduced B vitamin levels in the diet and the blood are linked with oxidative stress. It is worth mentioning that oxidative stress has been linked with the risk of heart disease in previous studies.

It is also important to note that reduced levels of B vitamins are associated with increased levels of the amino acid homocysteine in the blood.

Researchers have long revealed that one of the risk factors for heart disease is high homocysteine levels in the blood.

A B vitamin called niacin has been found by a study to aid in reducing the levels of remnant cholesterol and increasing the levels of good or HDL cholesterol.

The heart health benefits of B vitamins may be obtained through the use of highly potent and pure formulas like Purest Vantage Vitamin B Complex.
