Scientists Suggest Music While Driving Calms the Heart

According to principal investigator Prof. Vitor Engrácia Valenti, they found that cardiac stress in the participants in our experiment was reduced by listening to music while they were driving.

This research involved five female volunteers between the ages of 18 and 23 years. These subjects were in good health and were not habitual drivers. This means they drove no more than twice a week and had received their driver’s license 1–7 years prior to the start of the study.

The findings of this research reveal that listening to music could be a preventive measure against issues affecting cardiovascular health in connection with intense stress, such as driving during rush hours.
