Dr. Zashin added that engaging in physical activity may offer some positive effects, such as reduced body weight, better sleep and improved mood. All of these positive effects have been known to improve arthritis pain.

It may be extremely helpful for arthritis sufferers to engage in regular exercise. If it appears to be extremely difficult to do, then it is best that they look for an exercise partner.
