(Newswire.net — June 9, 2013) Denver, CO — “There are so many different places that your brand should be displayed on the Internet,” Branding Consultant Sherrie Chastain explains, “so I created this handy brand positioning checklist.” First you have to figure out what it is that you are going to display, so have your brand marketing materials assembled.
Here is a bonus Graphic checklist to use when obtaining graphics for easy embedding in multiple platforms:
- small, medium, and large graphic sizes for easy resizing without pixelation
- a small and large thumbnail size, along with a profile image size
- all images should be provided on transparent backgrounds, along with any color background that is part of the logo
- .psd files for easy duplication and future editing
If you have your brand properly identified, the perfect tagline, along with different sized graphics that appropriately portray your message, then you are ready to display your brand on everything associated with your message.
Online Brand Marketing Checklist:
- Website header and footer on every page of your website
- Blog header and footer on every page of your blog
- email header and footer if you use html and graphics, also in your email signature
- all profiles, custom backgrounds, any photos in your social media networks including: your gmail profile, Google+ account, YouTube Channel, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
- watermark all images, videos, infographics in multiple places with your branding logo
- Google your company and name and see what results come up, this is what other people are seeing also. Check each one for a complete profile with your branding.
“Many businesses today understand that brand marketing is essential for online survival, however, they forget to integrate their brand in all of their offline advertising campaigns,” the Internet marketing coach Sherrie Chastain explains.
Offline Brand Marketing Checklist:
- Stationery, envelopes, brochures, cards
- Phone message, and phone book ads
- Radio, TV promotion, newspaper ads, coupons
- All marketing materials, and PR that are distributed
- Front door of brick and mortar business, dressing rooms, bathrooms, walls, counters, bags, promotions inserted into bags, etc.
Brand Marketing Consultant Sherrie Chastain explains during one of her roundtable brand marketing sessions, “Once you have created your brand, it is essential that it is displayed everywhere. You will find that congruence among all mediums when displaying your brand is part of the power of brand marketing. People will begin to associate trust with your brand the more they are exposed to it, so think saturation when you are creating effective brand marketing.”
