(Newswire.net — March 1, 2013) Charleston, South Carolina– A custom tower clock created by Christoph Paccard Bell Foundry of Charleston, SC, is the finishing touch on an 1950’s era building recently renovated for use as apartments for the College Of Charleston and MUSC college students in downtown Charleston, SC.

Christoph Paccard Bell Foundry was commissioned to create the custom tower clock and took into consideration the use of the building, its surrounding neighborhood, and the desire of the owner to make the tower clock a focal point of the building.

The tower clock is designed as an heirloom clock; with quality built into every component including the stainless steel and bronze gears of the movement, the high quality powder coat finish on the balanced aluminum hands, and the unique long life LED lighting of the numerals and clock hands.

“We realize that a high-quality, carefully designed and manufactured tower clock is much more than just a timepiece. It’s an investment in the cultural beauty of an architectural project that will provide service to the Charleston community for generations” according to Stan Christoph, President of Christoph Paccard Bell Foundry.

Stan stated that, “The GPS synchronized controls of the clock system keep it perfectly on time – all the time.”

The tower clock building is located at 145 St. Philip Street Charleston and has become a gathering spot and meeting place for college students who say, “Meet me at the clock”.
