(Newswire.net — August 23, 2013)Orlando, FL –Warner Bros said Ben Affleck will star opposite Henry Cavill 30, Cavill will reprise his role as Superman from “Man of Steel.” The movie will also feature “Man of Steel” stars Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and playing Lois Lane again will be Amy Adams.
Zack Snyder, Director, First Revealed at last month`s Comic- Con in San Deigo that the two super heroes could be put together for the first time on the big screen.
Zack Snyder, Who was the Director of “Man Of Steel” will again direct the upcoming sequel, “Man Of Steel” screenwriter David S. Goyer, said in a statement about the new Batman” Affleck will provide an “interesting counterbalance” to Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent.
“(Affleck) has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne,” said Zack Snyder. “I can’t wait to work with him.”
Production on the Superman & Batman movie (official title has yet to be given) is expected to start production in 2014 with a pencil release date of July 17, 2015.
It will be Affleck’s first time playing a super hero from DC but he has played a Marvel superhero in 2003 as the blind crime fighter “Daredevil”
Ben Affleck’s who recently starred & Directed in the movie “Argo,” which he won an Academy Award for best picture.
Ben Affleck will follow in the footsteps of Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and probably the best caped crusader so far, Christian Bale.
