(Newswire.net — November 25, 2013) Irvine, CA — Next April, LePort Schools, the leading Montessori preschool in Irvine, is expanding its campus in the Irvine Orchard Hills Village Center by adding another preschool classroom.
“Our Orchard Hills campus met a clear community need when it opened less than two years ago: every single spot was filled within a month of our opening, and we’ve had long waitlists of interested families ever since then,” explains Heike Larson, Vice President of Parent Outreach. “We are very excited that we are able to take over a newly-vacant space right next to our school, and add another Montessori preschool classroom.”
On November 21st, the school received its Conditional Use Permit for the expansion. Construction on the expansion project is scheduled to start in early December and will be completed by late February. In addition to converting the empty space into a classroom and teacher lounge, the expansion will also increase the outdoor area at the campus.
“It’s really great to see that this project improves the school experience for all the children,” says Amy Kwong, Head of School at the Orchard Hills campus. “Children from all rooms will soon enjoy a gardening area, and several classrooms will have classroom-specific outdoor space, which will offer children the choice of working inside or outside throughout the day.”
