(Newswire.net — March 19, 2015)  — Thousands of children across the globe claim they have memories of persons who died long before they were born. The 10-year-old boy Ryan, however, offers convincing evidence of reincarnation.

According to Ryan’s mother Cyndi, her son started having strange nightmares when he was 4 years old. Cyndi told Today News that when Ryan was five years old, he confessed to her he led a life before.

“He said mom, I have something I need to tell you,” she told Today News. “I used to be somebody else.”

Little Ryan demanded he needs to visit his home in Hollywood, he started describing the details of the life of Marty Martyn, a former movie actor who later became a powerful Hollywood agent and died in 1964, Today News reported.

“His stories were so detailed and they were so extensive, that it just wasn’t like a child could have made it up,” said the mother adding that she was raised Baptist and had never really thought about reincarnation. When Ryan recognized a man from an old movies photo collection, Cyndi decided to talk to Dr. Jim Tucker, M.D., the Bonner-Lowry Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia.

“These cases demand an explanation,” Tucker who collected and studied more than 2,500 children-reincarnation claims in the US, told Today News. “We can’t just write them off or explain them away as just some sort of normal cultural thing,” he said.

“If you look at a picture of a guy with no lines in a movie, and then tell me about his life, I don’t think many of us would have come up with Marty Martyn’s life,” Tucker said, “Yet Ryan provided many details that really did fit with his life.”

According to Dr. Tucker, almost none of the details Ryan said describing Martyn’s life, are available on the Internet.  When Dr.Tucker located Martyn’s sister who confirmed 54 out of 55 details provided by Ryan were true. According to the death certificate she provided, Martyn died at age 59, however, Ryan claimed he was 61 when he died.

As Dr. Tucker dug deeper, he discovered documents that confirmed Martyn was born 1903 and not 1905, meaning Ryan’s claims were actually 100% correct.

Now, as a 10-year-old, Ryan said his memories of Marty Martyn’s life are fading, which Dr. Tucker said is typical, as children get older. According to Today News report, Ryan said he’s glad he can move on, and just be a kid.
