(Newswire.net — May 8, 2015)  — James Evangelidis has published on topics including accounting, law and financial planning. He released his first eBook thriller, Maze of Keys, in 2014. With the release of his first thriller came a unique competition where Evangelidis shared a portion of the sales. To win, readers had to correctly answer a series of puzzles related to the book. Now, the author is kicking his competition back into high gear with the launch of his sequel eBook, Maze of Keys-London Calling.

“Avid readers don’t need more incentive to buy and read books,” Evangelidis explains. “But even the most avid readers enjoy other ways to engage with books. That’s why I love this competition being attached to my book releases. It helps all types of readers engage further by adding another step to the book buying process, giving them the opportunity to solve puzzles and win cash, all while doing something they love to do.”

The winner of the 2014 competition, Hayley Stavely, earned herself US $10,000 by solving the Maze of Keys puzzle. “I absolutely loved the book,” Stavely said about this year’s sequel, Maze of Keys-London Calling. “I sat down to start reading it and I didn’t even get up until I finished reading it. It was incredibly compelling and every page had a new twist, a new turn, and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next.”

This year’s puzzle is a series of five short answer questions and five multiple choice questions. Evangelidis explained that while all clues needed to solve the puzzle can be found in his book, using a search engine like Google can also be helpful.

Maze of Keys-London Calling is a thrill ride about Joshua Keys, senior partner for the world’s most prestigious executive search firm Pembroke Yardley. After receiving a promotion to lead their London office and work with a new client, Keys is faced with stopping a sinister plot set to change the balance of power in the world forever.

The Maze of Keys-London Calling competition prize money, which is 50 percent of all sales, will be paid out no later than 28 days from the closing date of the competition. If there is more than one successful puzzle solver, each of them will enter into the final phases of the competition. This will involve another short answer question and/or a skill-based task related to the eBook.

The Australian author’s latest thriller was launched on March 28, 2015. The competition began the day of the book’s release at 9:00 a.m. EST and will run until 11:59 p.m. EST on June 30, 2015.
