Roger Firestien Will Present At Creativity Exchange

(Newswire.net — June 8, 2016) Williamsville, NY –Dr. Roger Firestien, Senior Faculty at the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY-Buffalo State, will present the program “Mastering the Inside Moves of Creative Problem Solving Facilitation” at the Creativity Expert Exchange June 11 to 13 on the campus of SUNY Buffalo State in Buffalo, NY. 

Dr. Firestien’s program will focus on assisting facilitators of the Creative Problem Solving Process to smoothly and confidently transition from one stage to the next in the technical process procedure as well as learn how to talk less and accomplish more while facilitating cognative thinking skills. Attendees will receive training in applying several tried and true logic-based techniques that consistently work to create breakthroughs.

Roger will also act as moderator to a panel of faculty from the International Center for Studies in Creativity.  The panel will discuss current research and practice being explored and developed at the Center. 

The Creativity Expert Exchange engages faculty, alumni and students of the International Center for Studies in Creativity to keep everyone on the precipice of research related to creativity.

Other speakers at the Exchange include: Mark Runco, Ph.D., Selcuk Acar, Ph.D., Sarah Thurber, M.S., Dorta Nielsen, M.S., Blair Miller, M.S. and Gerard Puccio, Ph.D.

Roger Firestien earned his PhD in communications from the State University of New York during his academic years. As of recent times, he is serving on the faculty at SUNY Buffalo State as a senior member. He has made major contributions to the International Center for Studies. One of his many goals is to transform graduate students into facilitators and mentors.
