(Newswire.net — June 18, 2017) — An interesting Premier League season 2016/2017 is now behind us and we have seen Chelsea FC deservedly regain the Premier League title ahead of Tottenham Hotspur. The Blues have collected 93 points and won 30 out of 38 games played. If you are a Chelsea fan last year you had to spend £750 on a season ticket, which is the third most expensive price in the league. Spurs’ fans had to pay extra £15 for their season ticket, while the most expensive one is for Arsenal FC – £1,014! It seems like being a Gunner nowadays hurts your heath and your wallet.

Interestingly, last year season tickets for Manchester City fans were £299, while the cheapest ones could have been found at KCOM Stadium in Hull (£252). Unfortunately for The Tigers and their fans, that price for the next year is going to be even less expensive because they were once again relegated to the Championship.

There seems to be no huge difference when it comes to the clothing and club football shirts available for sale on the stadiums. The most expensive ones were at the Etihad and Old Trafford (£60 each), while the cheapest ones were at Turf Moor (Burnley) and Vitality Stadium (Bournemouth), £40 each. This means the difference between getting Paul Pogba’s shirt and Sam Vokes shirt is only £20.

On the other hand, if you wanted to have some pie and pint in the stadium, the best offer available was at Riverside (£6.60) where Middlesbrough are playing their matches, and Turf Moor once again (£6.70). Once again, Manchester United and Old Trafford are topping the charts with £10.30 price, which makes sense. Mourinho’s team was awful to watch this season, which caused a lot of stress and eaten pies in the crowd.
