(Newswire.net — October 21, 2021) Orlando, FL — Today, more and more researchers are looking into the effects of beverages like coffee on health. It is worth noting that this drink is found particularly beneficial for the heart.

A study was carried out and published in Circulation: Heart Failure, which is the American Heart Association’s journal.

In this study, it has been found that consumption of one or more cups of caffeinated coffee may lessen the odds of heart failure.

In the United States, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and stroke are among the top causes of mortality from heart disease.

According to David P. Kao, M.D., while smoking, age, and high blood pressure are among the most well-known heart disease risk factors, unidentified risk factors for heart disease remain.

Kao is the senior author of the study, assistant professor of cardiology, and medical director at the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado.

In this research, Kao and colleagues resorted to the use of machine learning through the American Heart Association’s Precision Medicine Platform.

It was for the purpose of examining data from the original cohort of the Framingham Heart Study and referencing it against data from both the Cardiovascular Health Study and the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities Study to help confirm their findings.

Linda Van Horn, Ph.D., R.D., said the risks and benefits of drinking coffee have been topics of ongoing scientific interest due to the popularity and frequency of consumption worldwide.

Linda Van Horn is a professor and Chief of the Department of Preventive Medicine’s Nutrition Division at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, and a member of the American Heart Association’s Nutrition Committee.

“Studies reporting associations with outcomes remain relatively limited due to inconsistencies in diet assessment and analytical methodologies, as well as inherent problems with self-reported dietary intake,” she adds.

This is just one of the studies that looked into a certain aspect of heart health. Scientists have long been pointing out that some measures are vital for cardiovascular well-being.

There are also some all-natural remedies found to be helpful, such as the medicinal mushroom called lion’s mane. This remedy has long been studied due to its remarkable healing benefits.

It even has neuroprotective, cardiovascular-health enhancing, anti-inflammatory, cognitive-decline-fighting, nerve repairing, blood-pressure-lowering, immunity-boosting, cholesterol-regulating, and weight management properties.

To benefit from its use, it is wise to take into account using formulas like Divine Bounty Lion’s Mane (http://www.amazon.com/Organic-Lions-Mane-Mushroom-Capsules/dp/B07LGR1KN7).
