(Newswire.net — May 20, 2022) Las Vegas, NV — Health authorities have long been warning against heart disease, which is considered to be one of the major killers today.

A study was carried out by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.

In this study, the investigators analyzed data from over 153,000 people who took part in the National Health Interview Survey.

It has been found that veterans between the ages of 35 and 70 years of age reported significantly more heart disease than non-veterans in the United States.

The investigators further note that after the age of 70, non-veterans reported more.

Study author Ramon Hinojosa says it’s sort of the first indication of a coming public health crisis for veterans. But the study’s author suspects that might be because fewer vets survived into old age due to heart disease.

“Because of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, we have a relatively large, new younger generation of veterans who are going to survive for 30 or 40 years after their war experience,” he said in a university news release.

This interesting study was published in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Today, an increasing number of scientists are carrying out studies to learn more about the most effective ways to take better care of the heart. It is worth noting natural remedies like curcumin have been found beneficial.

Curcumin is a phytonutrient found in turmeric, which is an ancient medicinal spice. This phytochemical has been scientifically found to have antioxidants, which have significant positive impacts on heart health.

According to researchers, curcumin aids in controlling inflammation and reducing levels of cholesterol. These actions have been found to significantly reduce the risk of heart disease. Studies showed it aids in decreasing the risk of obesity-related cardiac surgery, diabetes, and cardiotoxicity.

What makes curcumin even more beneficial is that it could act on the genes found to affect cardiac repair and function after a heart attack.

It is worth noting that curcumin has adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antiviral, androgenic, antifibrotic, neurorestorative, and metal-chelating properties.

It also contains an anticoagulant, antiseptic, anti-platelet, antioxidant, anti-amyloidogenic, anti-cytotoxic, antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-purulent, immunomodulating, and anti-catabolic agents.

Scientists say that its anti-inflammatory effects fight not just inflammation but also oxidative damage. This has been found useful in its ability to offer protection to the heart from potential damage.

To experience its healing effects, it is wise to consider the use of formulas like Incredipure Curcumin (http://www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Supplement-BioPerine-Capsule/dp/B0166KAW8M).
