Uptown Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry wants to help Houston area residents who are suffering with missing and failing teeth understand the latest advancements in dental care. There are now many options when dealing with dental misery and it’s often hard to navigate the choices.
Dr. Roberto Velasco and Dr. Matthew Gemp have signed on to be partner doctors in a project initiated by Dental Implants Today, a dental advisory group, to provide a platform to patients with dental problems where they can take a short survey to find out what courses of treatment may be best for them.
The best part about “The Dental Implant Test”, says Dr. Roberto Velasco, is that patients who are dental phobic can get answers without ever having to come into a dental office.
“The Test is free, it’s easy, a patient can take it in the comfort of their home and then we evaluate the survey and call them back for free to discuss their score,” says Velasco.
Uptown Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry is just one of many dental centers nationwide volunteering its time to evaluate patients’ questions about dental problems, treatment and about dental implant options.
Dr. Velasco says he sees patients all the time who have been to a dental facility and have been told there is no cure for their problems, but invariably, his team can restore those patients’ smiles.
“We want to be part of a positive solution for patients, says Velasco. “We feel that ‘The Dental Implant Test’ is a valuable piece of education for people suffering with their teeth. It is a first line of defense to get what can seem like a daunting process moving forward.”
